Programs
Storytime Theatre offers two unique programs designed to help students grow as performers. Our Development Program and our traditional Performance Troupe.

Development Program
Our Development Program gives students the opportunity to train in small, fun-focused groups, working closely with two experienced theatre instructors. Throughout the program, students build confidence, strengthen their performance skills, and grow as collaborative artists.
Each session culminates in a final Showcase, where students will perform a rehearsed piece for their family and friends.
Program Eligibility

Junior Program: No audition required. Open to all Ottawa/Gatineau youth in Grades 3–6. Suitable for beginner and intermediate performers. No theatre experience required.

Intermediate Program: Entrance by audition only. Open to all Ottawa/Gatineau youth in Grades 6–9. Suitable for beginner to intermediate performers.

Senior Program: Entrance by audition only. Acceptance into the Senior Development Program is at the discretion of the Program Director. Open to Ottawa/Gatineau youth in Grades 9–12. Suitable for intermediate and experienced performers.

Fall 2026: The Snow Queen
Performance Troupe
Students work in casts of varying sizes to bring a story to life. An emphasis is placed on excellence, quality and commitment to the overall production.
It is recommend for students to audition for our performance troupe only once they've acquired the foundational skills of theatre including projection, characterization and commitment to a show.
